Dell PowerVault 110T LTO-2-L (Certance) Firmware Descritpion: Custom Instructions for r158797.tar.gz:
1. copy the file R158797.tar.gz to a local directory on your linux system.
2. go to the directory on the system which contains the downloaded file.
3. extract the file by typing "tar -zxvf R158797.tar.gz" this will unpackage the file into the current working directory.
4. run the utility by typing "./linux/DFU" this will launch the firmware update application.
5. follow the instruction on the screen to proceed with the firmware update.
6. reboot system after firmware update has completed. |
